Financing is often the key question when buying in Morocco. Levana helps you find the solution that suits your situation and puts you in touch with our financial partners, including Al Akhdar Bank for participative (Islamic) financing.
The options
- Conventional mortgage – Moroccan banks lend to residents and Moroccans living abroad (MRE), including for off-plan projects.
- Murabaha (Islamic financing) – the bank buys the property and sells it to you at a margin agreed in advance, repaid in monthly instalments, without interest.
- Developer payment plans – off-plan, you pay in stages during construction; we compare the payment plans of different projects.
- Daam Sakane housing aid – for a first home, Moroccans in Morocco and abroad may qualify for direct state aid, subject to conditions.
How we help
We review your budget and deposit, show you which projects fit, explain which documents you need (ID, proof of income, bank statements) and connect you with the right person. The bank makes the financing decision.
Living abroad?
MRE can obtain financing in Morocco and, when the purchase is paid in foreign currency, can under conditions transfer the proceeds of a later sale abroad. We guide you step by step, remotely if needed.
